The Singers recently received a grant of £950 from the Cheshre W. & Chester/ NHS Cheshire Wellbeing Chairman’s Trust Scheme.
The money will be used to fund new music for the choir from more modern composers. It will also allow us to revise our approach to printing to contain costs. We also hope to improve our concert programmes and publicity.
A major reason for this Grant was the fact that regular singing improves peoples health and also the community nature of our Singers brings a very positive note to the Neston area.

The Choir performed Stainer’s Crucifixion juxtaposed with Chilcott’s “Little Jazz Mass” on Saturday 16th April, 2011 starting 7:30pm at Neston Parish Church.
Soloists included Stuart Keen, tenor and James Goddard, bass. Jamie Dawson played the drums during the Jazz mass and Graham Eccles played the organ and piano.
